In this work I appropriated footages chosen from Tom and Jerry.

The video is separated into 20 sections and each section plays one by one. There are 22 chasing scene that I chose from different episodes, and they were placed in sequence into the sections. By playing the clips one by one it creates the feeling that the chasing continues and by looping it, the chasing never ends.

I chose specifically the chasing scene because it is the core of this show, Tom chasing Jerry. And it is the fact that Tom never really catches Jerry that make the show go on. Also, it is a way of showing that it is not always about the destination but the views that you see on the journey. The process is more important that the result.
